I was born the oldest into a family of 5. I lived in Regina, Sk. for my growing up years. Graduating with honours I was given the opportunity to take my interior design in Winnipeg. I graduated from high school June 12, 1981 and was married June 29, 1981. A year later I had my first little girl, 13 months later I had my second little girl, 2 years later I had my third little girl and 2 years after that I had my 4th little girl. When they were starting kindergarten I was not ready to get a job, I wanted to stay home and raise them….so I was blessed with my 5th little girl in 1992. I stayed home to raise my family which was not always easy but looking back it was a privilege that not many mothers have today and I am grateful. While they were growing up too quickly I kept busy, during school hours, with sewing and doing interior design work for a few clients, cooking, cleaning, helping with homework and bedtime stories.

Today, they are mothers of their own and I have 14 wonderful grandchildren. I have been present at most of the births and have been there for postpartum care. I aim but don’t claim perfection in all I do. I love to care for babies and mommy’s and help in any way I can to make life somewhat easier with the pressures in todays world I am energetic and passionate about whatever I do, from hiking the West Coast Trail to spending precious time with my growing families…. grandchildren.
